Security Guard Training in Ahmedabad

We train guards to the standard we deploy to — and we run that same programme for organisations that employ their own. Same syllabus, same drills, same assessment. If your in-house guards were never properly trained, this is how that gets fixed.

What the programme covers

  • Bearing and post discipline — turnout, alertness, how a guard stands and carries themselves. Most of a guard's deterrent value is visible before they say anything.
  • Access control — visitor screening and registration, ID verification, vehicle checks, material gate passes, and recognising tailgating for what it is.
  • Patrolling — beat routes, checkpoint discipline, what actually warrants a second look, and logging a round so the record means something.
  • Incident response — the escalation ladder, first response, keeping a scene intact, and who gets called in what order.
  • Fire and emergency — extinguisher handling, evacuation marshalling, assembly point discipline, and behaviour during a drill versus a real event.
  • Reporting and records — occurrence book, shift handover, and writing an incident report that holds up when someone reads it a month later.
  • Conduct and communication — handling visitors, tenants and contractors, and de-escalating an argument at a gate without it becoming an incident.

Where we are honest with you: PSARA

We hold a PSARA licence as a security agency (PSA/L/89/GJ/2024/JUL/3/2672). That is a different approval from being a PSARA-approved training centre, and we do not hold the latter. The Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act requires licensed agencies to train personnel through approved institutes, and this programme does not substitute for that. What we run is supplementary skills training — it makes guards better at the job, but it will not satisfy a PSARA audit.

If approved certification is what you actually need, an approved centre is what you need, and we will say so on the first call. We would rather lose the enquiry than sell you training that fails an inspection you were relying on it to pass.

Format and assessment

  • Delivered at your site or ours — [[CONFIRM: do you have a training space, or is it always at the client's premises?]]
  • Duration and batch size — [[CONFIRM: how many days/hours, and maximum guards per batch?]]
  • Classroom plus practical drills, with the drills run on your actual entry points and routes rather than in the abstract.
  • Written and practical assessment at the end, with a per-guard result you keep — so you know which of your people passed and which need another pass.
  • Certificate of completion issued by us, clearly identified as supplementary training rather than statutory certification.

Who this is for

  • Companies running an in-house guard force without a training function of their own.
  • Housing societies that employ guards directly rather than through an agency.
  • Smaller agencies with no training setup, who need their deployed staff brought to standard.
  • Any site tightening up after an incident, a client audit or an insurance requirement.

Who delivers it

[[CONFIRM: trainer names, background and years of experience — ex-forces, ex-police, corporate security? A training buyer evaluates the trainer before the syllabus, so this paragraph does more work than the module list above it.]]

Common questions

Does this training satisfy PSARA requirements?

No — and the distinction matters. We hold a PSARA licence as a security agency (PSA/L/89/GJ/2024/JUL/3/2672), but that is a different approval from being a PSARA-approved training centre, which we are not. This programme does not substitute for the statutory training a licensed agency must provide through an approved institute. It is supplementary skills training. If you need training that will stand up in a PSARA audit, you need an approved centre — we will tell you that rather than sell you something that will not satisfy it.

Can you train guards we employ directly rather than through an agency?

Yes, and that is the main reason organisations come to us. If you run an in-house guard force, or a society employs guards directly, you get the same syllabus and the same assessment standard we apply to the guards we deploy ourselves.

How long is the programme and what does it cost?

[[CONFIRM: programme duration, batch size limits, and indicative per-head or per-batch pricing. Buyers comparing training providers filter on duration and batch size first.]]

Can the syllabus be adapted to our site?

Yes. The core modules stay fixed, but drills are built around your actual layout — your entry points, your visitor flow, your escalation contacts. Generic training produces guards who perform well in a classroom and freeze at a gate they have never seen.

Tell us how many guards need training.

Headcount, site type, and what went wrong that prompted the call. We will tell you whether training fixes it — or whether the problem is supervision, not skill.
